Alec (DAD) Smith – 20 year old photographer from Paola, KS
“I grew up in a small town with no skate spots… somehow skateboarding stuck with me and although my skating wasn’t progressing as quick as others I found a way to stay involved through photography. I get more hyped on someone else landing a trick than I do myself so it only makes sense for me to document it in the process. Since I’ve been going to school at KU I’ve met a lot of sick skaters. People need to know they are out there! I aim to capture all the shredding I can and help people to see who’s really holding it down in Kansas. Be on the look out for the DAD:LAW crew…” – Alec (with the crutches)
